Harvested from February through May, Kampot pepper is used in a variety of dishes, from savoury to sweet, and simple to sophisticated. Kampot pepper is mostly sun-dried and not machine dried, ensuring the natural flavour is retained and the process is environmentally friendly.
Kampot pepper delivers a strong yet delicate aroma. Its taste can range from intensely spicy to mildly sweet with floral and citrus hints. Kampot pepper has a unique flavour and smell which distinguishes it from other types of peppercorns. The hot taste also has slight flavours of eucalyptus and mint. The pepper has an incredible depth of flavour and aroma.
