OUR STORY

Kampot is a region in southern Cambodia, known for its high quality pepper. Here at Kampot Kitchen, we import these world-renowned peppers all the way from Kampot, Cambodia to share with you in our food. The concept of Kampot Kitchen was born a couple of years ago in 2019. A passion and desire to bring authentic Cambodian flavours to Melbourne was behind its inception and culminated in the beginning of the Kampot Kitchen journey. Through fresh gourmet baguettes, Kampot Kitchen brings the flavours and tastes of Cambodia to Melbourne. Using home-cooking styles and techniques, everything is prepared as though it was cooked at home, ready to share with friends and family. Hours are spent preparing for each day of business. From making lemongrass paste from scratch, to a seemingly simple Papaya and Carrot salad (which actually takes 3 hours) to preparing, slicing, marinating and finally cooking the meats to perfection. Our menu is all made fresh to order. There are 10 different flavours and each baguette is made on the spot. At Kampot Kitchen, we aspire to bring authentic, Cambodian-style home cooking to you.
